Spiru C. Haret (born February 15, 1851, in Iași – died December 17, 1912, in Bucharest) was a Romanian mathematician, astronomer, and educator of Armenian descent, renowned for organizing modern Romanian education during his three terms as Minister of Education. He was a full member of the Romanian Academy.
